Ultimate OS atau Ultimate Edition adalah distro Linux turunan Debian, Ubuntu,Versi terbarunya 2.6 sudah menggunakan Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10,04.

Ultimate Edition 2.6 telah dioptimasi untuk pengguna 64 bit dan dibutuhkan kartu GPU yang mumpuni.3d desktop compiz fusion telah tertanam di Ultimate. Tampilannya memang bisa mengalahkan win 7.

Google Chrome di Linux

Wah kabar baik juga nih. Ternyata Google Chrome terbaru udah nongol. Versi 5.0.375.55 Tersedia untuk Windows, Mac, dan Linux. Situsnya udah mendukung bahasa Indonesia. Bahasanya sedikit aneh (Peramban baru yang cepat: Kini tersedia untuk Linux)
= Google Chrome menjalankan laman web dan aplikasi secepat kilat. = Tinggal klik download Google Chrome. Lalu pilih sesuai spesifikasi PC anda mau 32 bit atau 64 bit pakai .deb atau .rpm Baca syarat-syaratnya lalu pilih setuju or batal.
Gampang khan.
Emang terbukti browser ini cepat dalam renderingnya. Bisa ganti skin lagi..
Kalo pas browsing ke situs luarnegri, contohnya ke situs rusia atau china yang memakai huruf aneh. otomatis akan muncul tab diatas halaman browser "Apakah anda ingin menerjemahkan ke bahasa" indonesia atau inggris, dll..,atau pilih "enggak" untuk tidak menterjemahkan.
Proses menterjemahkannya pun tergolong cepat.

Release Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx LTS

Belum ada sebulan pake Karmic Koala, walah... udah muncul Release Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 lts (long term support). Sudah minta CD ke Canonical tapi kayaknya pesenan CD disono antriannya panjang banget. Untung PCplus ngasih Bonus CD Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 lts, Thanks alot guys...walaupun belum upgrade ke Lucid Lynx tapi udah sempat nyoba Live CDnya.. bootingnya mungkin lebih cepat..spalsh screennya lebih sederhana.
Wah Gnome 3.0 belum nongol juga di Lucid Lynx (emang belum direlease secara resmi).

Instal Ubuntu Karmic koala

Halo ini pertama nulis blog pake OS linux Ubuntu Karmic koala. masih newbie jadi jika da salah ketik mohon dimaafkan..he he..he..
Instalasinya mudah bootingnya cepat.. Light weight Linux.
Paling suka dengan sudo apt get nya..mau instal tinggal konek..
I think Linux is best OS. Iyalah gratis lagi.
